Julee is the owner and lead designer of Truss Interiors & Renovations. She was inspired to create Truss Interiors in 2013 with the intention of being different. After working in the design industry for many years, Julee grew tired of the unpredictability, failures, and low standards of the construction industry. With 20+ years of interior design and project management experience, Julee is known for her heightened sense of detail, her professionalism, and her ability to understand clients’ lifestyles, styles, and needs. She continually strives to show clients they deserve accountability and a detail-oriented approach. Julee’s unique understanding of how design and construction are intricately interwoven makes her an incredible asset to any project.
Julee is a down to earth Midwesterner at heart. She has called Colorado home since 2005, focusing her career primarily in new home construction and remodeling. Julee has a passion for humanistic causes both in the states and abroad. She serves as a founding board member of Abraham Seed Academy Secondary School and participated in the ground-breaking for the school in Malawi, Africa. Julee loves spending time outdoors, creating floral arrangements, reading design magazines, and being with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
While being a Louisiana transplant, Aubrey has called Denver home for the past 14 years. After several years in the fashion industry, she made the choice pursue her passion for design and furnishings in 2018. Aubrey has grown tremendously at Truss. Now as Head of Operations at Truss Interiors, she coordinates many aspects of bringing clients’ projects to fruition through ordering, vendor management, preparation of quotes, and designing client’s vision boards. She keeps projects on time and on track, while making the atmosphere light and fun. Outside of work, she spends her time hiking, fishing, and enjoying sunshine on the patio with her husband Adam and fur baby Gus.
Following a relocation to Colorado and a career in strategic product marketing and project management, Tina entered the design industry by pursuing an education in interior architecture and design. She enjoys the challenge of transforming technical details into beautiful and unique design solutions. Tina is Julee’s right hand in creating the detailed elevations, floor plans, and renderings for Truss’s projects. Outside of her professional life, Tina enjoys her family, loves to travel the world, and explore new countries and cultures.
Tarra Gerlach and her team take care of all of Truss Human Resources needs, as well as accounting and transactional services. Tarra’s 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management makes her a whiz at ensuring the business side of Truss runs smoothly. She has built her career by specializing in QuickBooks consulting, bookkeeping/accounting support and other managerial consulting. Tarra earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska and her Master in Business with an emphasis in accounting from Regis University. Tarra loves spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and dogs outside of work.
